So, I planned on having a friend come over and help me with my cosplay today in prep for SDCC. She ended up texting me and saying that she wasn't coming over because she had a headache. I figured it was no big deal, since she had asked if she could come over on Sunday and I just learned today that I don't work Sunday (...which is today now, lulz), so I figured she'd come over then, and I started streaming an episode of Twilight Zone on my laptop. Then my mom called me out to the kitchen...

And there was a bag that said 'Happy Birthday' on it in the kitchen and my three friends attempting (but failing) to hide behind the counter. They had been planning on throwing me this surprise party at my house all week! :D And they got me all of the Dead Tired dolls, along with two MLP DVDs and a fantasy book by an author I'd never heard of before. We spent the night watching Nostalgia Critic, Monster High and MLP: FiM. It was AMAZING. I <3 my friends. :D

It's actually an Ariel with sanded ears to look like an Espree, and I found another Yo-SD girl on the DoA marketplace, a BBB March (Wren) that will be arriving next week too, it's raining dolls! I just can't figure out what to name the new Ariel yet.

And now I've just found out my parents bought me a ticket to MN for early August, and I get to meet up with some of the MN girls finally like Zirconmermaid. :D
