I keep thinking about possibly swapping Amelia for another Yo or MSD, they are really just a much more manageable size from what I've been doing lately.

When first saw the doll stuff and saw; 60cm, 45cm, I flipped out. But then I took a ruler and saw that at least the 40cm range wasn't too big. and then Elodie came along and surprise, she looks actually kinda small, even if I have no SD size dolls. I think I might like large dolls.....

Personally, I would love to have a SD size head at least, so I would have a good sized head to practice stuff on. But I love how Elodie still has a bit of a weight but is light enough to just carry around. (Well, for the vinyl department, larger obitsus sound good for the weight and posing department.)

But I still love the 1/6 or below scale, since most bjds that size seem to have a pretty large head anyway. (Unless I'm talking obitsus here, which are still on my wishlist however my eyeballs would be having seizures trying to paint one. Unless I decide to mod the 1/6 neck piece and stick a 1/3 scale head on there to make it look like a pullip or something.)
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

Quidam: What are you getting??

I dunno I think I just like all dolliehs. Part of my fear of the large ones is that they are hefty in price and weight and thus prone to be a more expensive accident lol.

Charlie, my CH Bisou has fallen three times from a height of 6 ft and been fine....er....I like to display him on the curtains....so he can be hanging over my head by the desk lol. (Cerise does not like this at all and prefers Charlie close to her.)

There was just something so awesome about being able to put Sparrow in my bag and not have to carry something the size of a pool que bag.

LOL, imagine popping a Hujoo baby in a larger, say, pencil box (not sure what you call those) and then carry 'em around places like school. Or stick one in Halloween candy basket with a creepy costume and enjoy as your annoying neighborhood brats scream in terror.....*shot*

You just did not read that.

So would I...so long as I can look over the creepyness.

Um, back on topic, I can actually shove Elodie in a small ish shoe box (okay, she's partially unstrung..) to protect her from my cat. Not that my cat would ever dare hurt my doll but in case of puking and such. However, Elodie her self probably doesn't like it. At all.

Surprisingly, when I found this hobby, I was more into the 27cm Obitsu. I actually thought the larger dolls with their exchangeable eyes were really creepy and I repeatedly told my family that I would never consider the larger dolls.

Well... maybe it was because I was exposed to the larger dolls so frequently on the forums, but I gradually warmed up to the larger scale. Now, I find myself drawn to the 1/3rd scale more than the 1/6th scale. So much for the whole "I'm never getting into those large creepy dolls," huh?

I'm ordered a Dragondoll dragon girl (who will magically turn into a boy upon arrival). I'm slightly worried about finding zero owner pictures anywhere, but I guess there always needs to be a guinea pig.
