SakuraSylv used to be my go to username but after awhile it started to sound silly to me. Sakura for Japan and Sylv short for my real name Sylvia. My sister started the whole thing of putting part of your name in a username. XD

When I was looking for titles for some stories I was writing "Gift in the Edge" came up. I wanted a new internet name so I shorted it a bit to Gift_in_Edge. :D

When I first started this hobby, I thought that I was going to stick to the 1/6 obitsus and tinies. And i started joining forums long before I got my first doll. I did end up buying Elodie instead of a originally planned 23cm obitsu, but I think the name kinda stuck. Now I find myself wanting more minis so maybe I can change my name to the1/4commander or something?

MIne was the most nonsense thing I could think of back when I was on AOL years ago. At first, we had a joint account and every time I got on the 'net, people would start sending me IMs (still hate instant messaging to this day). I set up a separate account as Mlatch221 because no one would connect it to me. Then, when I joined the old EZBoard network, I used it as my handle. 12 or so years later and it's attached to me like stink on poop!

FWIW, I no longer use this handle outside of doll and 1/6 scale action figure boards. There are a few miniature gaming boards where I've used this name but I'm not really active on them anymore.

Okay, well, this particular username is a holdover from high school, because I adore Mythical Detective Loki (魔探偵ロキ）and I was like 'It's like alcoholic but with Loki LULZ AREN'T I COOL?!' (because I was an idiot in high school. I truly was.) I kept it because it's something no one else has.

Well, my name is because of my cat. He's really fat. And really clumsy. One day me and my husband were joking around saying that if he was a monster dinosaur (like godzilla) he would destroy everything by accident and would really just be looking for some pets. We made up the name 'Kittyasaurus" and I wrote it down and doodled out a cat dinosaur...but the spelling just didn't look right. So I spelled it with an 'a' instead.
When actually the 'u' spelling is correct. haha My spelling is terrible anyways. xD The wrong spelling of it just stuck, so I left it that way.

My old username is something lame, because at the time when I was 12 I thought anything Japanese was the coolest thing in the world.

I've been Emby Quinn online since 1995...sort of. "Emby Quinn" actually started out as two people.

My lifemate and I started out on AOL 1. (Stop laughing.) We decided to choose a master screen name that either one of us could use: "Quinn" came from our last name (I had mine legally changed to match hers in 1990, since they don't let women marry each other in Alabama), and "Emby" came from each of our first initials, M and B. Eventually my beloved got her own AOL account, and I kept the original...and inherited the master screen name. By then I'd started making KiSS dolls and getting into online fandom, writing reams of fanfic and doing gigabytes' worth of fan art for Gatchaman and DBZ...and the rest, as they say, is history.
