Hiya and welcome! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Welcome to the group! I also started out with Pullips, but got sucked into the bigger dolls pretty quick :)

Don't know much about repairing a Taeyang foot, but what you might want to consider is getting him an Obitsu body. They are much stronger than the default bodies - lots of people put their Pullip girls on them. If you can take photos of the break on his foot and post them down in Tips and Tricks someone may be able to give you some pointers though!

Welcome and good luck with the fix. I never realized dolls could be fixed because I only ever had a Barbie as a kid and she never broke. I did fix a bunch of ninja turtles as a kid because my friends had them and they were constantly falling apart. (I was a tomboy and ran with the boys lol.)
