First painted eye 60cm Obitsu head. (x-posted)

So I tried my hand at painting a big non eyehole head. I quite liked how she turned out. Yes she is displayed on a torso but there is no body yet T_T. I don't think blonde is her color but I don't own any wigs that remotely fit her and this one at least wasn't sliding off.

Oh, I totally read your post over on DoA way too fast..! Completely missed the fact that you painted this head yourself! Her eyes look amazing :D :o

Her eyes totally look exactly like something out of my favorite animes, way to go!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Thanks everyone!

I had so many references up when I was painting her. I wanted to make her look super anime. I wish I had colorful wigs to take pics with. Just another thing to go on my mile long wish list.

I'm trying to get my hands on another head so I can try a different style. The big heads are pretty fun but they take a longer time than the smaller heads cause I have so much more area to go over lol.

Your painted heads always impress me :-o She reminds me of someone with that blonde wig hmm..I like the unusual eye color I also use rather unnatural eye colors when painting anime heads. Her eyeshape is beautiful like from the older anime times :-) She got lovely lips too, someday I´ll try my hand at painting bigger heads but x-D I´m not sure how I´m gonna handle so much space x-/

Perfectly symmetrical, you did a fantastic job! A colorful wig would be great, but I think a black one would really bring out those eyes!!
