Second hand Obitsu Gretel 60cm [box opening!]

She just arrived and the customs charge was only €41,13..! I'm so thrilled to have her!!! Her name is Sosha.

Yeah, that's me with my box. I'm extatic ^^

After a change of eyes and wig :).

The eyes are 16mm brown acrylic Glib eyes. I'll soon try some 18mm on her when they arrive.

Leaning against my bedroom wall. She didn't need the support, she can stand on her own just fine, but the wig keeps falling off :(. I'll put some velcro on her head after I've finished her faceup, hopefully tomorrow!!

A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Thanks guys! I wish she'd come tomorrow haha, I have SO much school work to do tonight, it's agonizing to see her standing on my desk :P. Wish I could make her a dress and do her faceup right away..!

Thanks! But omg! How do I remove her hands? :( I can't figure it out. I took the screw out that I thought was connecting it to her wrist, but I still can't get it off. Help..?

Thanks! Haha! I'm in love with the wig too. Found it second hand for €10 in great shape and I knew it *was* my new doll's personality straight away :). Got another wig in almost the same colour that I'll use for Sosha's sister... cause yeah... um... I just bought another second hand Gretel in the UK 40 minutes ago...

*blush*

Think I'll give her a different head though. Was thinking about the Megu head, hence my topic about her, but I think it's gonna be the Joshua head. And yeah, I know it's a guy's head, but I like it for a girl too :)
