I'm doomed!

My youngest sister is borrowing a Lorifina doll from a friend of hers and showed her off to me. I have never seen a 50cm doll in person before but seeing her made me crave a vinyl or maybe even a resin (gasp!) of the same size. Aw nuts!

GO FOR IT! :-D No, honestly if you like the size then there´s no problem. A lot of people give up on 1/3 because
they end up being too big for them. But big dolls a upper huggable <3

The one thing that keeps me at bay from the big ones is how heavy some can be. :)
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

"big dolls" come in so many sizes now its awersome. if your afraid of size go 50-60cm route... weight, vinyl. :) Angel Region makes some adorable 50cm dolls... or used to not sure if since soom took over if they have new bodies or not. (the mini's do.) unless you really fall in love i tend to stay away from 70cm, but i do have a 65 perrenial lady, and my soom sephlar who towers over everyone! XD Vinyls are cuddly! :)
*Is currently addicted to large Obitsu's*
Want: Gretel, Sleeping Princess oe, Alice, and maybe the 55cm boy with the original head. XD

I was kinda iffy on the big dolls too. Mostly I'm 1/6 but then after getting influenced by my doll group(mostly 60cm DDs) I ended up with a 50cm Obitsu who's a decent size for me. I could even lug her and 5 of my 1/6ers out for a shoot in her doll bag.

If you try pulling out a ruler and see how big they'd be, it's not really...THAT big. I guess standing next to a human side by side, it could look pretty big, going past one's knees and all but when you're holding them, they could be like "baby' sized. And compared to other dolls, it's "only" about 6 or so inches bigger than American Girl dolls (on a dollieh scale, that would be a pretty big difference but hey, we're the "giant humans").
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

I think it was only a month ago that I said I'd never get a doll larger than 40cm... and look what arrived at my home today. Lol. At some point you just need to give up the fight.
