They were at the karaoke bar I ended up at for Xavier's first birthday Halloween 2007. I think they came as Nirvana. My sister pointed them out. They didn't sing or anything while we were there, never would have known it was them.

Hanson! I loved that Mmmbop song! lol Actually, I think I still have their first CD in my collection. I didn't even realize they were still performing. Shows how much I pay attention. ^^;

And on another note, I just published one of my short stories on Amazon Kindle. I'm curious to know how well or poorly it does. Perhaps an entire novel would have been better, but I don't have one finished yet that's anywhere NEAR ready to be published. I figure a short story is a good enough way to test the waters.

I think I've finally figured out the culprit to my poor hedgehog Maxwell's constant itching.

Fabric Softener, I don't know how I could have overlooked it. So now, Maxwell got his blankies all rewashed with no softener and we'll see how he does.

After months of indecisiveness I've finally found a child for my doll family! The layaway will be payed off by November giving me plenty of time to decide on gender and appearance. The hardest part is over, though!

The festival was GREAT!!! Awesome!! and we had some great weather, too! Enjoying live music lying on the grass in the sun really is the best thing ever. I haven't had a chance to relax like this in ages, it was great, I needed that.

Hanson is definitely still around, they don't have hits but they're still making new albums (I have 'em all) and they still have a very loyal fan base. Yesterday, they played a mix of old and new songs. It was great. I'm jealous of your guys for meeting them in person! Haha, when I was like 14 I had the biggest crush on Taylor and I remember getting evil at a friend of my mother's who said I'd never meet him anyway. What did she know?! Haha!

Roger has working knees on his front legs! Elebenty tries and I finally succeeded with straws and q-tips! So much of him has been old fashioned kindergarten crafts. Now to figure out how to do that rockin' hard human body...

Aww, Hanson, that takes me back. And reminds me that I need some Mmmbop on my mp3 player...

The first day of camp was a success! One child had separation issues, but that comes with the territory. We saw a fox snake on our hike, which totally made my day. Snakes rock~

The big dog thought if she brought me one of her toys I'd let her play with Replacement Roger, the little dog thinks he's a puppy.

I'm rejoicing because I'll go to the Pinkpop festival tomorrow, where I'll see Kings of Leon, Graffiti 6, and HANSON!!! Yay!! I've been a fan since 1997 and they only came to Holland for a concert in 2005 so far. FINALLY I'll get to see them live again :)

I'm very, very, very jealous of this. I adore Hanson unabashedly and have since they first came out!

Landwhale - Actually they still tour around here (they do a lot on the west coast and at the House of Blues). They put out an album last year called Shout It Out and it's fun. Still the same quirky pop they originally came out with.

Agreeing with all of this! I find that their music is a bit rockier than it used to be and kinda mellow at the same time. It's hard to describe it's just fun music. There's no doubt those mmbop kids actually have real talent lol! :lol:

Seeing them on the Guilty Pleasures episode of Dancing with the Stars made me want to buy their music for the first time. Their voices have matured and their harmonies are awesome.
