Me thinks there might be one or two "closet" vinylophiles in the ranks of the resin elite.

And you are right - Gretels are all WS, but even if it turned out that for some reason the body and heads were different it really isn't that bad looking. Sherris has a "fleshtone" head and a WS body and looks just fine. As other people have often told me - its not like real human beings have perfectly matching skin tones all over their body LOL

Congrats on getting a big obitsu - you'll love it!

As for YOU Highlander and Misheru - let the rest of us get the occassional second hand obitsu too HAHAHAHAHAHA

Snow, my token Gretel, has a normal skin body - and it's an extremely pink normal skin! Strangely enough, it actually matches the faceup Kiki did on her! And she's got closed eyes. She isn't sleepy at all, she is my blind seer. I thought I was getting a little sleeping beauty - nope. She had other ideas!

Mine was sort of a happy accident. I have a couple of 1/6 obitsus and was looking for more info on them. I stumbled upon the episode of Culture Japan where he shows how Obitsus are made and he has his DD with him. (Names escape me now) That led me to digging for pics and info on the 60cm Obitsus. One dig was to one of our locals who is no longer local (Military move to Japan) She was the only one in the group that had a 60cm Obitsu so I asked her questions. You know the type I mean: What is the body like? What are the pros and cons? What head do you have? What would you suggest? She had a laugh at my questions and answered them. And then offered me the doll! You see, her poor Obistu wasn't just getting the love that her other dolls were and was trying to figure out what to do with her. She didn't want to sell her to anyone but wanted her in a household that would love her. So she gave her to me. YES. . . She gave me her 60cm Obistu Ball Joint white skin girl with Gretal, Haruka, and "The one for drawing eyes."

Silly thing is that with two floating Obitsu heads I now have to get them bodies! So that would mean from one gifted doll I will have three Obistus. And I doubt it will stop there. My DH has claimed the Gretal head as his girl Fancy though.
