So, I notice the DVD of Hand Maid May on the coffee table. Any success in getting the girls to clean the house? And they are lovely!! :D

a bun hair girl is hiding at the back.

You have quite an interesting mix there. The one sitting in the center between pink hair doll and black hair doll looks like an Alna from here.

Ya got me beat! What a great looking group. I really love group shots, though they can be arduous to set up. The final product is always worth it.

Ah, but there are two of them to only one of you so I think if you do it that way y'all are about even :)

A lovely lovely family of girls - but methinks eventually you need to get them a man, don't you?

Going left to right we have (apologies in advance if I mess anyone's name up, I have a habit of doing that)...

Kurumi (neko), Kasumi (neko), Toph (resin), Makoto, Miyuki (50cm), Mikazuki, Hinagiku, Kiyoko, Shion(50cm), Kira, Midori and Mariko.

Then the group of three in front is Michiko, Aika, and Miu.

Wow, for once, I did that from memory, and I think I got it right.

Well spotted! Alas, no, the girls have shown no interest in the vacuum cleaner or anything else of that nature. Frankly, I think Mariko (my avatar pic) thinks that her hands would curl up and die if she did housework...

The raven bun haired girl is 'Toph' - named for the character in the Last Air Bender TV series. She's our only full size resin girl. The pretty raven sitting front and center between Michiko and Miu is indeed an Alna - now named Aika. Misheru was fortunate in a Volks lottery.

Not so sure about that K2, besides there are two of us, and we make a lot of use of the secondary market. As an example, we collect the R&D Angel 15-inch fashion dolls, very few of ours have come from retail sources, and we probably pay less than a third of the regular price on average by watching out for dolliehs in need of a home and/or surgical repair. We've purchased some of our larger girls new, and some from the secondary market. Besides, we have very few vices (including our dolliehs) and a single child. The number of children isn't going to increase, so our vinyl family get's boosted instead. I should probably clarify the vices, our dolliehs, video games and anime. Shocking eh?

I sometimes call it an addiction, or perhaps an obsession. I'm not sure what a therapist would call it. I'll know what my parents would call it...in about three weeks time. :o

::clears throat:: Me?

;)

We have a couple of resin boys in quarter scale group, and a couple of 19-inch vinyl dudes from Tonner. but as yet, no third scale vinyl men from Japan. But as I always tell Misheru, what about me. That said, it's a curious feeling being a dollieh-daddieh. I never understood how daughters could wrap their dad around their fingers. I have a better insight into that now, it's very difficult to say "No." to them. I think they know that, and exploit it, mercilessly.

You don't have a clearer shot of Toph, do you? She's my favorite Avatar character, and I've been thinking about making a doll of her.

We do. More pictures should be posted today or tomorrow. There's something of a backlog...

Thanks everyone. Yes, that is an Alna (Aika) down front, the new White Christmas version. I liked a darker wig one her, especially since the nekomimis stole the original Alna wigs.

I hate that you cannot see Toph very well in the group pic. She demands to be front and center next time. :D

I will post a couple of pics below of her. I am not that into resin, but a friend offered her for adoption and I thought the sculpt was so pretty and that she looked like Toph. So I ordered some special custom glass eyes and got a wig...and Choa became Toph.

And to GH...as for a guy? I am saving up for a 55cm Obitsu dude to be my Hayate (Combat Butler). Hinagiku insists upon it. Highlander is fine as a dollieh-daddieh, but the ladies want a romantic figure every once in a while. :o
