This is Elsa, a Hestia Isora – Tachimachizukinoyoru-. I found her at a Tuesday Morning store and got her as a Christmas gift.
Here she is with her coffin she came with. I had to untangle chains on it. Back of her shoes. This is what's under her clothes. She even has a scorpion tattoo.
Tuesday Morning is kind of...uhm, a good description? A very nice TJMaxx or Big Lots. Leftover designer goodies for considerably reduced prices.
I have never heard anything about the owners being Christian, but it's possible. After all, we're not *all* squicked out by weird things. (Especially _cute_ weird things. )
I decided to go to Tuesday Morning on a whim and there she was! I got her for a fraction of what others are selling her for. They also had Pullips, J-dolls, and some other ones at the time I went. It's not too bad of a store. You just never know what you'll find. XD
That's so cool! We have a Tuesday Mornings over here. I've never been before though.
How much was she?? Or any of the other j-dolls for that matter. I want to go so bad now. D: It sucks because I was just out west today running around. darn
Oooo. I have a sudden need to visit Tuesday Morning. Nice find! I've never seen anything fancier than Barbie or (tons of) Madame Alexander at mine but you never know what they might get in.
@kittyasauras: I got her for $30 and when I was doing research on her other places were selling her for $100 or more. I think the J-dolls were $15 or $20. Almy said that there are still some Hestias in some Tuesday Mornings. If you don't find a BJD they still might have some other cool doll stuff there. Good luck! :)
Now if only I could still find those Pullips Gift kept talking about.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
