@ Misheru -- Was this doll orginally a 50cm Obitsu though or a DDII? I have a 50cm Obitsu and am debating that abdomen or possibly the DDII bust piece.

This is not exactly what I was asking. I wanted to know about the DDII waist specifically working with the 50cm not the 60cm Obitsu waist. ;)

She's a standard Obitsu 50cm with a Megu (Parabox) head. the bust is an Obitsu 50cm large bust, but the opening for the abdomen is the same on all Obitsu 50cm busts. The abdomen is a DD abdomen.

I should know, I took the pictures for Misheru.

I also have a 50cm Obitsu with a 50cm large bust on a 60cm (heavily trimmed) abdomen. The waist on the 60cm abdomen is bigger than that of the 50cm and DD/DDII/DDdy abdomens, so there really should be no trouble mating a 50cm small bust to a DD abdomen. You'd need to use the Obiutsu skeleton though, I'm not sure how well an Obitsu 50cm bust of any size would work on a Volks inner frame (if at all).

Awesome! Thank you!! I am not too sure the waist piece just yet, but thank you so much for all the helpful information! :)

I have an Obitsu 50cm. I was also toying with the notion of possibly using one of the DDII busts instead of the waist. Would that work out as well?

^__^ Thank you again!!

What say you, K2? :)

Your link goes to the DD2 medium bust. I'll have to check it once I get home tonight but the 50cm large bust is about that size...

I should have mentioned that one thing about using either the larger 60cm Obitsu abdomen or the DD2 or DDdy abdomen is that you need to ensure that they are proportionate. A much larger curvier abdomen doesn't look right with the smaller bust sizes. When Misheru and I were putting together Shion and Miyuki (keen observers note that they are named for characters in our favorite Japanese RPG), we tried (for the sake of it) seeing what the regular 50cm bust looked like on the larger abdomen, and it was not good. It was out of balance. The Obitsu 50cm large bust, which as K2 says is about the same as the DD2 medium bust, is actually nicely proportioned for the larger abdomen.

Here is an image that shows the bust + abdomen side by side, Obitsu 50cm Large bust with Obitsu 50cm abdomen, and Obitsu 50cm regular bust with Obitsu 60cm slim (ball joint doll) abdomen.

This second image shows the regular Obitsu 50cm bust and 50cm abdomen together, and the Obitsu 50cm large bust with the Obitsu 60cm slim abdomen. You could get a decent idea of the comparison here.

Also if you look at these posts from K2, you can get an idea for some of the comparisons using the Obitsu bust on other abdomen...

Somewhere K2 has a comparison image of all his ladies with their various combinations of bust/abdomen which may also help you with what you're thinking about.

And finally, here's an image with some other Obitsu 50cm comparisons for you - my Shion vs standard Obitsu 50cm vs Yamato VMF50 type D.

Sorry, I didn't explain well - I meant since the 60cm Obitsu one could be made to fit, the same thing might be possible with the DDII one.

So PF, you wanted to see the DD2 bust on a 50cm with the 50cm abdomen or the DD2 abdomen?

Actually either or both, but no pressure if you're busy. :) I was debating getting either the DD2 waist or the DD2 medium bust so whichever combinations you want to throw my way - feel free! ^___^
