Questons about putting unpainted heads on Obitsu body.

I'm curious about putting an unpainted head (Without the thing to take off the head cap and see inside.) On the Obitsu 21 cm child body (Male or female their the same neck type right?) I'm curious because I plan on getting an unpainted pre-rooted neko head for my boy and use decals. I'm just curious about getting his head on his body because Haruka's was a battle itself.

If the female body is made of hard plastic and not the squishy vinyl, then yes, the male and female body use the same neck post.

Unfortunately, getting those heads on the bodies are no easier (maybe even harder). A hairdryer will be your best friend here. Gently warm up the neck hole, but make sure you shield the hair with something (like paper towels or something) or the hair will melt (it's plastic, after all). Then, quickly stick the head onto the neck post. If it doesn't work, reheat the head.

Or find someone stronger than you. I usually resort to asking my dad when I've been trying for more than an hour. He gets it in one try. XD

You should be able to push the head on, give it a bit of a wiggle, squish it a tad to change the shape of the neck hole to get it on the neck knob if you need to. I've never needed heat for any of my Obitsus.

Aha! I have pics of Obitsu neck knobs! I think this is the 25cm http://dolfielittles.com/cat/100_2697.jpg and this is the large bust 2 part http://dolfielittles.com/cat/100_2698.jpg and this is the regular http://dolfielittles.com/cat/100_2699.jpg So if a 21cm has one of those knobs it won't be too hard to put the head on.

The 21 cm I want has the same one as the regular doll. Thanks for the pics and the tips.

I forgot about those pictures, I was photographing some of the more interesting Barbie outfits I have and felt a few needed to be worn. This was right before I did the head swaps but my girls wanted their Volks bodies back not long after, mostly because of staining with the soft bust and I just got a bunch of dark clothes then. The NDR head is on the regular Obitsu now but I need white heads for the other two. One of these days I need someone with fresh eyes to go through a few thousand doll pics I have for other serendipity pics like those.
