All the Hasbro Pokemon plushes I was waiting on last post have arrived, but to answer my own question of where I was gonna go next: I came across Staryu and Blastoise, two very rare later releases, at fairly low prices from two different UK sellers. Those are the kinds of opportunities that you don't walk away from unless you want to live in regret.

(Not quite "buying", but sometime before Staryu arrived, I got Mom to snag me three more Hasbro beanies for my birthday stash: Togepi, Gyarados, and Pidgeotto. The latter-most is another rarity inbound from the UK.)

I am now waiting on a full set of Sailor Moon "Sofvi Puppet Mascots" (i.e. vinyl figurines), featuring the girls in their royal attire. Mom also helped me win an eBay auction for Irwin's Sailor Chibi Moon plush; I can't say that sub-collection is now "complete", as I'm still missing Tuxedo Mask and the cats, but she was the last Sailor Guardian I needed.

Today, Hubby and I went out on a hunt for the new Jem doll that hit Walmart and lucky me, she was in the first Walmart we stopped at! I was over the moon to see her in stores. I almost gushed at the cashier. But I didn't, because the cashier did not care. When we got home, I stared at Jem in the box for an hour, then finally unboxed her! She's incredible. She's very articulated, comes with a stand, and 2 outfits. Her hair's a little wild at first, but I had no problem fixing it.

If you want to see pictures, here's a link to my blog post with pictures. She's gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier to have her finally. I've waited all my life for this.

Ooh, thank you for the owner photos! I’ve been excited to see her other than stock photos! She’s really lovely! Looks very much like the animation style and aesthetic! I’m hoping they will continue with the whole cast of characters! Of course, my favorite was ‘Clash’ who is hardly on the main roster, but I’d love to see what TLS does with her if they get to her!
I’m actually currently making a ooak Clash IT style doll. I found out about her just a few months ago but by now, she’s upwards of $600! So, of course, I won’t be buying her at that price! But instead I’m trying to make a decent ‘replica’ of her. Just finished rooting her head this morning! Faceup this week! :D

Thanks again for sharing the pics and your enthusiasm about the new Jem TLS doll! She’s a beauty!

Yeah, I'm really glad the Loyal Subjects are making dolls for Jem because Integrity Toys dolls are way more than I feel comfortable owning. If I had a doll that cost that much, I'd never want to play with her ever. And I really enjoy interacting with my dolls.

I have several Integrity dolls. They're decently sturdy. I definitely wouldn't hand them to a child, but I've had some of mine for around 6-7 years, and they're still going strong. I'm actually MORE concerned handling my early 2010s era articulated Fashionistas than my Integrity dolls.

I have assorted 2000s Fashionistas, no kid gloves, and they're doing fine. On the Mattel side of life the only ones that have broken have been the 90s Skippers neck knobs. One childhood Barbie from the 70s managed to break her wrist. Aside from that, and perhaps a couple other neck knobs similar to what the Skippers have going, they've held up.

Out of all the 1/6 scale dolls I have the only ones that have ever broken in daily use are Volks EB line and an Ertl male figure made of cheap shiny plastic. I have an Integrity body for my Julie Newmar cat woman that has been tossed around the spare bodies bin and last I saw her she was fine.

I wish I knew, and they're tricky to repair. I have quite a few of them and I've spent most of my time in this hobby looking for reasonably priced body replacements to fit all the clothes I have for them.

Found one of those Barbie Land surprise toys for $1 in a container other dolls can use so it counts as my birthday doll, lol. They make good toys for other dolls.

So my package with my Adonis doll was SUPPOSED to be here yesterday. It sat at my local post office all weekend, and didn't get sent out for delivery yesterday. Now it's been sent to ANOTHER post office almost 100 miles away. What the hell, USPS?

I had that happen once, great reason to have shipping numbers.

UPS would do that all the time, I could have picked up my orders from the seller if they allowed it, instead everything went seller's warehouse-big delivery hub at the big airport-smaller delivery hub at the small airport which was just down the street from the seller-eventually out to me but possibly up the mountain and to the other side first.
