That's a nice set. I've knitted that small, my basic advice is to use needles about the same size as the doll's fingers or their wig size. I'd tell people wanting to start to do the same thing, choose needles about as thick as your fingers. If you want/need a loom then a sock loom is good for dolls.

I need to work on the not buying so much end of things. Getting to the point where I'm ending up with doubles of things I don't need doubles of. On the other hand I do have a $25 limit gift (it was on sale) if I find myself in that situation.

Muppet amiguri book. I'm going to make them out of crochet thread so they should be a good size for doll toys.

Not doll related, but I finally tracked down a complete vintage Mirro aluminum cookie press. Finding one will all the tips, including the pastry fill tips, was no easy task. And I paid less than $15 for it not including tax and shipping!

Monster High G3 Jinafire Long is super cute. Pre-ordered from Amazon and she’ll be delivered Dec. 3rd. I also bought the Cleo and Nefara two pack. And Wednesday and Enid, which I still haven’t unboxed. I think I should probably stop buying dolls at some point. :lol:

I also tried to get my hands on Lagoona Blue from the new Creeproduction re-releases but they all sold out within the first day and naturally the scalpers have already gotten their grubby mitts on them. :roll:
Well maybe I’ll get lucky and find her at Walmart. She’s the only one I want. I already got Frankie from the first batch.

Non doll related, I bought an inkless mini printer that prints picture stickers. It’ll be nice for journaling. The paper is kind of expensive, but so is ink, so it balances out. I also want to use it to keep a record of every one of my BJDs in a notebook with their information. That will be … a project. :lol:

On one hand I didn't need to know little thermal printers existed, on the other if that's also how some store receipts work you might want to figure a way to seal the stickers. All I can say is some of the receipts in my journal have faded due to the pages rubbing against each other over the years and others are fine.

And if you put the stickers on the same place on each page that corner will get super thick so a soft cover book would be more forgiving.

I bought a soft leather cover book that has a leather thong to wrap around and close it. Kind of an old-fashioned vibe. And the inside is like a six-ring binder, so I can add pages and stop once it gets full, then start the next. I’m using a thicker unlined tan paper that I think is meant for like drawing and such. I also decorate the pages with regular stickers. The printed ones will just be for memories like vacations and such, so not used often.
Thanks for the advice about the stickers! The print quality isn’t quite as good as a regular photo but still pretty excellent. Hopefully they don’t fade quite as badly as receipts tend to do.

Yesterday I bought an itty bitty crochet frog doll. A week or so ago I bought the cheapest little Rapunzel doll/figure out there (and have carried it all over the house since then). Both were five dollars CAN or less.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

@Tam: Nice!

I picked up the recently-released Jazwares Butterfree plush from GameStop today. Butterfree is one of my favourite Bug-types and I didn't want to have to pay reseller prices for this one.

Bought 2 new dolls recently. Sally is from the Disney ILY4Ever line. Been looking at her for a while and got her with a gift card for my birthday.

And an Aurora play set that I've been wanting since they came out. I just felt that $30 was too much for what it was. However, between a sale, a coupon and a free shipping day, I ended up paying $10. Her hair is pretty crunchy so I may wash it. I'll probably display her in the Briar Rose dress. Unboxing was a breeze. Pull one string, untuck feet and dress from cardboard tabs. All dolls should be packaged this way.

Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
