I'm not a fan of Hobby Lobby anymore . . . Especially considering I had a personal experience with the staff being homophobic. They thought me and my mom were a lesbian couple because she looks way younger than she is and we were wearing matching flannel shirts for fall. It was a mess.

We don't Hobby Lobby up here thankfully, but I stopped dealing with them online a long time ago for reasons.

I saw the book balls again at Wallys and bought another one. Didn't get anything special but I was kind of fun giving one of my Smarties a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to read for Halloween. And now struggling to put the shelf together since I have so many books now. I should check for duplicates.

I think I've started to work out what day my local Walmart gets it's shipments/stocks its shelves. Everyone pray for my wallet . . .

I stopped shopping at Hobby Lobby when I heard they refused to properly insure their employees. I do most of my craft shopping at Michael's. I used to do all my fabric shopping at Joann's, but then they stopped having a good selection of what I needed, so I started ordering fabric online.

Our local shopping center has the trifecta, and just about everything else, so when we feel the need to get out and get some air we just 'go to the craft stores'. I hear ya about the fabric tho, if I were a completionist I would have had to order one of the prints to the Hi Fashion roses online but lucky for me it's the least attractive and odd shade out in the bunch.

Some of it could be where you're located too. I'm in Southern California and if the craft stores didn't let the weirdos in, or work for them, they wouldn't have any business. My previous local stores knew when I came in I rarely left empty handed.

When Mattel was releasing the Barbie Movie dolls, I only had enough to buy either Track Suit Ken or Weird Barbie, and I choose Ken. Sadly, so many Weird Barbies ended up on ebay at scalper prices so I resigned myself to not getting one. However, today on my Mattel Creations email I saw they were re-releasing some favorites so I rushed to site to check and Yes! Weird Barbie was there. And now she's going to be coming here. Life is weird sometimes. :D
