Don’t know how to explain all the news reports of So Cal damage are true while also saying aside from generally crappy roads most if it is localized to really stupid places to build homes. We’re in a fancier area of newer and better maintained infrastructure than before so it should be okay. What’s weird is looking at news radar and reminding myself it’s the other side of the freeway triangle and a different mountain effecting my weather now.
But yeah, there are some potholes so big and old you can see them from space.
Snug in my own bed in my new home after a Reddit worthy adventure to get in. Anyone wanting to share it can PM me for the details.
Meanwhile got a few photos and a glimpse of Mt Baldy getting a fresh dusting of snow. Start lacing your bets for how many ill prepared people will need rescue this weekend. Not me tho.
Staying home, settling in. This place is much better prepared unlike the other one where the only way in or out would flood. Just wary of a few spots in the roads that were already bad before.
