Haaa ha ha! I love the "anime protagonist phase" with the 'sploding unicorn hair!

That's an impressive re-root! Do you use existing holes, or do you punch additional holes in the scalp? The re-root looks nicely even and thick and dense!

Both, actually. The head is the Texas A&M Ken doll, so I had to add new holes for the bangs. The middle is actually sparsely rooted because the yarn makes for a very bulky reroot otherwise. It was the only way to get those tapered curls, though, and I'm actually really happy with it.

Look for the thread they do punch embroidery with. I used some metallic and it looked like braids.

I got mine from a website called Hobbii. I want to get a bunch more colors to make wigs for one of my other dolls.

If I would wait and start things once all the supplies were gathered I'd be more successful and my craft area would be less cluttered with future things.

So true Trethowan.

I am gathering supplies before I begin my next project which is a make under of Bratz dolls at the moment.... soon to move into bjd's.

Basic templates for the band Ghost feed/flour sack dolls. Will be coloring up the fabric ones with markers etc to get some detail in there. Hoping to do flour, rat food, and ghoul food designs. With all hopes I'll try this idea with a few other things.

Tulip fabric markers got yelled at and sent away, the tips were coming off in little pieces, so I went back to the Inktense I used on my octopus pockets which are made out of the same fabric. I am getting better at controlling the bleed but then again this is the pancake model which will allow me to see if my design works.

This is one of those 100% cotton blank handkerchiefs they sell at craft stores by the fabric decorating stuff. As long as it's 100% cotton you can use a lot of things to decorate it. Just know water based/activated stuff will bleed.

Today I crocheted a three eyed monster, because my favourite monster doll artist said she wouldn't be able to make me one.

...I'm still not sure I haven't stolen her ideas, though. :(

If you made it for yourself and aren't selling it I'd consider it on the side of fan art.

*Rest in pieces Cardinal Cr*pia, may you always be a reminder of why we make demos. Going to try again soon.

Spent today at work making another little monster, which is for the artist, and meant to pay for mine. My logic is weird.

Ugh. Yeah. I remember making something so carefully... and then it busted when I tried to turn it because I didn't make it big enough.
