I wish I could make my van more interesting but right now it's better not to. We're going to get some window stickers, license frames, and an antenna critter. It's a 2019 Grand Caravan and we're still figuring out what all the buttons do even tho it's like the least technological minivan. I will say if you can pay cash a former rental is a pretty good choice, one owner, regular service, and frequent cleaning.

On the doll side I found the blond Looks Ken for a reasonable price and I got the newest wheelchair one. We like to get our holiday mail in and out as soon as possible. Both are slated to get different heads and the blond will probably end up in the reroot pile. I already have a Lance Bass puppet.

Thanks, it's as new as I'm ever gonna get :) We decided we'd take whichever 19 or 20 we could get. Yesterday's adventure was how to turn off the back windshield wiper.

Tell anyone if they're looking for a new or new to them car see if they can rent one first, or at least ride around in one. Mom getting some doctor's appointment rides in assorted minivans gave her an idea of which ones weren't comfortable to sit in.

One of my best cars was a little Mercury that did its first year as a rental. Just need to get any used car checked out by a mechanic. Fortunately, I married one and gave birth to another!

Got a couple of ebay buys, from the Alice's Collection people who sell stuff they need to move for a bit cheaper than on their regular website. The Smarties got new boots and Christmas dresses...which need some work.
Fuzzy boots are a tad large but not so very much and forgivable in outdoor boots. The little bows are so cute!

Also got these knee highs, one pair in white and the other in black. Both for less than half of most of the Smart Doll sized boots I've been looking at on etsy. These are a really good fit and have zippers up the back so they will be easier to take on and off.

The two dresses have these funky felt bows hot glued on. They need to be replaced quickly LOL! One is on the dress and the other is on a wrap that goes over a simpler dress. I'm not sure what I'll put on there, but something, anything!

A little red ribbon rose or a candy cane button would be perfect.

The latest fashionista wheelchair Ken with a made to move body. Not sure if it's a new face sculpt too.

Managed to find a seller who had the redheaded 2022 Holiday Barbie for $40.

Also, if anyone is looking for one, the Queen Elizabeth dolls are popping up for under $40 again, finally.

Dollmore released their beautiful Lusion Dell sculpt in the Illua size, so I caved and ordered him. As much as I wanted a boy Lusion, spacewise his smaller version is more practical. He has such a pretty faceup too. Now to play the waiting game. Although at least I don’t have a year layaway to go through first.

In spite of my ridiculously huge trim collection, I still went to Joann's and bought a few things including a couple buttons. I'll post some pictures when my ISP fixes itself and I can be on for more than 5 minutes before it crashes. I'll put them in one of my SmartDoll or sewing threads.

Be careful. They usually are fake at that price point. If you look at the brand it doesn't say Mattel in the description. The vendors from China are just using Mattel pics to sell the fakes.
