Since I binged and bought all 7 Equestria Girls dolls at once, I'm kinda taking a break from doll-buying. But don't think I'm using any sort of restraint, I'm amassing My Little Pony media and merch instead...

I looked it up, apparently the one in pink is Cinderella and the other one is Sleeping Beauty.

That's what I was hoping! :laughs: I so dislike Aurora in pink and staring at them, I could see Cinderella's dress in the pink one (an amalgamation of her pink torn dress and her silvery peplum) but I couldn't see anything of Sleeping Beauty in the top middle blonde....but I'm glad that one is supposed to be her. At least it's purples! :)

They probably had to be careful about copyright infringement. That Snow White dress is just BEGGING for a cease and desist from the Mouse himself.

Another Real Littles backpack I absolutely had to buy :/

The backpacks fit most 1/6 scale dolls, the stuff inside is a mixed bag of scales. The handbags and diaries from this line work with bigger dolls.

I bought a barbie type doll in a ribbon skirt and a red hand print T shirt.

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

Two of my latest buys. Another Rainbow High, and I managed to find a G1 MLP TaF Dancing Butterflies on eBay for a really good price. She’s in near-perfect condition too. She was one of my favorite ponies when I was a kid. Apparently there’s also a baby version of her that was a special mail-in order. I’d love to track down that one, too, but she seems pretty rare. Which means ridiculously expensive.

The Silver Bullets of Annie Oakley won the Dragon Award for Best Alternate History

A few days ago I saw The Silver Bullets of Annie Oakley on the book and magazine rack at the single grocery market in the podunk little rural town where I live! I mean, there it was, where they usually have the Ludlum and Grisham and King novels! That's Big League, to be prominently featured (3 copies) on the limited display space in the middle of nowhere! I was so excited I snapped a picture:

The little local library, which has almost no science fiction or fantasy (other than some Percy Jackson novels in the children's section, but not a single Asimov or Heinlein), has about a dozen Mercedes Lackey books on the shelves!

What a pretty pony. Yeah, baby will probably be ridiculous, but you might run across one that someone doesn't recognize or something. Or you could buy a baby fakie and paint her.

I'd be on the side of painting a fakie, not like there's Gen 1 MLP police.

As for the library too bad you can't create an Amazon wishlist for them, post it on different forums, especially bigger ones with more traffic, so people can buy books for them.

I'd also remind the library to remind the kids that they can borrow e-books and movies, but maybe kids these days don't know how to search for things, and that libraries like it if you ask for help finding books because that's their job. You can quietly hang out there for free and read stuff your parents will never know about if you just read it there without checking it out. And not reshelving a book yourself is good because librarians keep track of which books get used the most.
