I can relate! For me, that's the type of project that ends up stashed in the storage shed on the "someday I'll finish it" pile that never gets looked at again.

I'll probably just put MPGIS on in the background while I work. I get more done with something playing in the background, and MPGIS is my current hyperfixation.

I would have made the whole floor then used a wash of water based paint in stain color then a clear seal on top of it. But in this day and age I probably would have cheated with patterned scrapbook paper.

When we did a 1:12 dollhouse we used scrapbook papers for everything possible.

I thought about that, but I'm adhering the boards to poster board for ease of storage, and I don't know how well the poster board is going to hold up.
