I'm using yarn with curly plush to make a sheep. I have no idea if this will work.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

@Trethowan Thanks :) The enxt step is batting, backing, and then hand quilting. Most of the fabric came from Jo Ann, novelty food prints, basket, picnic check with ants, if you want to make your own.

@Tam I Am It sounds like it should work, be sure to share pictures with us!

The tricky part with the sheep is seeing the stitches to work them. LOL

The official 2022 big doll inventory sort n toss is underway! I bagged up 13 dolls to go to Goodwill. I put them in a ziplock bag with their clothes and accessories, and a compatible stand. I think it's a really nice deal for whoever's gonna pick them up at Goodwill, all their stuff is there in the bag! It was hard to say goodbye to so many dolls at once, but these dolls really need more attention than I give them, I hope they go to a kid or a newbie collector, someone who will appreciate them. It's gonna get harder from here though, because no dolly is safe from my heavy assessment. No plushie either, but I gotta stay on topic. I'm hoping to give a thorough assessment of every dolly in my possession, let go of every doll that no longer sparks joy, and when I pack my dollies for the big move in the spring, I will know every dolly I pack is a dolly worth dragging across the country to my new home. Getting ride of dolls sounds so hard. It's like losing friends.

It's massively hard, but I definitely overbought in recent years, and it's getting easier to think about how when they go to Goodwill, they could end up in the hands of a kid, who may love them and take them on adventures, or a newbie collector, or even a local doll customizer who will turn them into works of art! So, the dolls I'm letting go of are getting a new lease on life, rather than just sitting in the darkness of my storage boxes. If I stick to today's calculations, a total of 20 dolls are going off to new adventures. I might add one or two more, but I think I'm coming to a close on this project.

You can cut out the middle man and see if a local boys and girls club or place of worship or shelter might want the dolls to give directly to less advantaged children. When we purged a lot of stuffed animals and soft toys we found a law enforcement program where officers give them to children they deal with who are in serious situations.
