I swear, for things like giant dragons there is marionette technology we're not using. If it's hanging form strings it doesn't need to be self supporting. Edit them out of the pictures afterwards.

DGRequiem finally made a pattern for Rainbow High! And bonus: she made one for Na Na Na's too! I have a lot of sewing to do this weekend. It took me 3 hours to make one dress for Vivi. Gonna make the same one in Yellow for Sunny, and a black one for my Na Na Na. I also have some graphic tees to finish for my Rainbow High girls. They're cut out and just need to be sewn.

So, I just splurged on seven Cave Club dolls with plans to OOAK them into the Color Kids from Rainbow Brite... Also managed to scrape enough for another Restoredoll order to get more light gray hair shades because I'm still trying to find just the right combo for the Ghost Dancer. (and in non-doll news still have a computer to assemble and monitors/monitor stand to put up)

Has it been that long? Because I got super mad at the cards continuing to tangle, decided I had spent enough on it, and got a rigid heddle that works swell.

On the doll end of ideas let’s see how long wanting to make Rockapella heads lasts.

I bought a messed up Singing Belle doll on ebay a while back and now I'm finally trying to make her a 'Winter Belle' outfit including cape. Finished a muslin of the bodice and I'm working on the final now with some modifications to the pattern I purchased to use as a base. I'm having to hand sew everything and since I put fray check on the edges, they are stiff and hard to push a needle thru. I keep procrastinating.

Been working on an off for Japanese screen doors for a while. And then this happened. On one hand I want to replace the sliding glass, on the other hand I want to keep the glass and use the screens during shoots or as backdrop.



All this because the doll living in the regular shelf was testing things out for me...

Since I had to clean my whole house (which took 2 whole weeks and outside help because ex-roommate), I haven't been able to do much crafting in a while. But now the cleaning is over, I think I'm gonna make some summer wear for some of my dolls. Sunny and Vivi are getting swimsuits and beach towels. I ordered sun glasses from Ebay that should fit them.
