Can I ask where you buy your Smart Dolls? I'm seriously considering one.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Unless you're shopping for a pre-owned one on eBay (which are fairly uncommon), your only real option is the Culture Japan online store:

Thanks. I've been looking on ebay and there is a company called japan-trust-store that sells them new. Think I'd rather get one from the original place tho.

I'm guessing the ebay new ones were some kind of a reseller situation, and in any case, were a lot more expensive. I ordered from the original site and have an Alternate Kanata coming now. The clothes were way too expensive for me at this time, so I'm planning on doing some sewing when she arrives. Or seeing if any of my current stock of 1/3 size stuff will fit. They are saying it should be about 2 weeks to arrive.

Alternate Kanata, good choice! The one with a hint of a smile! You will love her, I have no doubt!

Yeah, the Culture Japan clothing is quite expensive. The quality is extremely good, and the pieces fit the Smart Dolls perfectly, but... those prices!

Some of your existing 1/3 outfits might fit. I've purchased some off-brand 1/3 scale clothing for my Smart Dolls. Some of it fits very nicely, other pieces not so much. You'll have to experiment.

Thanks! Good to know. I know of a couple patterns that are made for them too I can buy if I need to.

And Qrinta, sorry to hijack your thread, but it's totally your fault with all those cute pictures that made me order one!

The Smart Doll store also provides a number of Smart Doll clothing patterns for free:
