Shailoh couldn't wait for his debut . . .

This wonderful little pain in my butt is Shailoh. He's my first full reroot for a doll, and he was too impatient to wait for me to make him some proper clothes or anything resembling a nice photography setup before he came to say hi. Instead, he stole his ex-boyfriend's pants and made me throw some scarves over my thread spool holder and snap a couple pics of him. He also refused to let me find him a shirt because he's Shailoh, and Shailoh doesn't have that kind of patience.

Once upon a time, Shailoh was an Integrity Toys Ace McFly doll. (His head also doesn't stay on well due to damage I caused trying to remove it because I didn't realize how Integrity Toys dolls necks and heads are made, so I'm still trying to come up with a way to fix him.) He snapped a total of around 11 needles during the process of rerooting him, proving once and for all that he's a feisty little bugger. But he's my favorite and he knows it, so he knows he can get by with being difficult . . . Lucky me, eh?

Yeah . . . He's the poor fellow whose neck got a little mangled. Thankfully, his sister (who is also an IT doll) went a little easier as far as removing her noggin, since I learned my lesson with poor Shailoh. I've always said Shailoh's head wasn't screwed on quite right, though, so I guess it's fitting that his head is literally not put on right.

Update: I made a couch that should have been for EVERYBODY once they're fully customized, and Shailoh commandeered it for his napping space. He says he's not moving. (Also, don't mind the dragon casually chilling just out of frame, he's harmless. Mostly.)

Took about two hours or so, and that was mainly spent burning my fingers with hot glue because I haven't worked with it in so long my brain kept forgetting the concept of HOT glue.
