Kuzco & Malina 1/6 Dolls from 'Emperor's New Groove'

Made these “Emperor’s New Groove’ custom OOAK 1/6 (10-11″) dolls for a commission a couple months ago. We’ve never seen this movie but the characters seem so lively! The animation design of this film is so unique, I had to really think hard on what base doll parts to use for them!

I sculpted Kuzco’s head and semi-sculpted Malina’s, then painted and styled both. My sister made their outfits, and though difficult to imagine, they were fun to recreate!

Wow! Thanks, everyone!!! I've never seen this movie (seems there are a lot of late 90s/00s Disney films we missed) and it seems it's a fan favorite movie. I've got to try to catch watching it sometime!

Oh, wow, they look great! I've never seen the movie either, but they do look so much like the character art I've seen. I'm sure your client was very pleased!
