New Crew In Progress

hey guys, you can call me Elliot! I'm a fairly new doll collector and so far I only have one doll. I'm just looking to make friends who I can talk to about them!

Hi, Elliot! What kind of dolls do you like?

I really lik Doll Chateau and Doll Zone dolls, the hideously beautiful ones if you will, but right now I only have an Island Doll-Kid's Sky hybrid!

I'm a 1:6 scale fashion doll and occasional action figure collector, myself. (Considering the serious lack of 1:6 scale male fashion dolls, I'm glad action figures exist.) I'm actually about to start planning out beds and new furniture for some of them.

I love hybrids. I always enjoy seeing what cool combinations people try out. Some people say hybrids are blasphemy in the doll world. I say it's how you get your dream doll.

It's not so much a hybrid because it's the same type of doll, but I'm on the hunt for jointed legs for my Mattel Dreamhouse Skipper. I found her perfect head and upper torso (with jointed arms!), now I just need new legs for her, and she'll be fully poseable! I wish Mattel would actually make articulated dolls for the little sisters, but I'll take what I can get.

that's really cool (: I don't have any fashion dolls but I do like the aesthetic. my bjd is actually a Kid's Sky boy body, an Island Doll Leprechaun head, and Doll Legend 1/6 jointed hands so it's my little Frankenstein creation.

I feel like hybrids and customs are closer to your heart than straight up store bought dolls. You've put more time and thought into them (and usually more money OwO; ), so they're more special.
