The new girl problem child Dollfie Dream

Postby Astrid » Tue Nov 23, 2010 5:33 pm

She has a haruka head that came with her on a Dollfie Dream body white skin I did a crazy face up on her which I will wipe today I need better brushes too these ones are cheap ones from Joannes and lack of talent and a steady hand but its fun and I will redo so I can sell it. I wanted a H-01 head I think it is.

The piece inside of her neck is broken and yes like a dummy I did not take a photo of it. She is getting along with everyone in the doll family much better then my Soah who only has one eyebrow.

I do think she is trying to take a wig from my ryo though

Congrats on your new doll! I like the HDD-01 head, they can have the sweetest expression.

Sucks about the neck but cool you have a white skinned DD! I find water color pastels to be pretty nice when you're not use to using paints just yet (or just to get any idea what you might want on the head). ^^

I am not sure! I do not have a part that looks like that but I dont see a place where something like that would screw in to ...I think she is a DD1 if that makes a differeance

No, she's a DD2. DD1's are strung and the knees are totally different looking.

I assume the part is placed into the neck piece, but I'd need to see a photo of yours to be able to say more...

Neck and bust parts should be in the mail to you tomorrow, provided I'm not totally snowed in.

OK, Karl you are the expert. Doesn't she look like a Gretel? She just doesn't look like a Haruka to me. And I think Gretel heads and Dollfie Dream bodies were meant for each other!

I have so many Harukas that all look so different, I had to call Diamond (one of my Gretels) over to compare them. Astrid's girl is a Haruka. The Gretel nose is pointier and the eyes are closer together.

Yes, Nyoko agrees with you, Gretels look great on the DD2 body.

Diamond looked pretty good on the DD2 also.
