Question regarding pics of items for sale

I know That Other Forum has very strict rules about cross-posting pictures from sales threads and/or mentioning items are for sale in a discussion thread, but what is the ruling here? I have pictures of some outfits I just finished, and I was going to post pictures in my recent fashionista thread to show them off a bit, but I was also going to list them for sale in the swap meet, and I wasn't sure if that was acceptable/counted as advertising for a company.

You can certainly post them in the Fashionista area, but you can't mention that they are for sale in that thread. You can, however, also post them for sale or start a thread in the "Sell your Skills" area and refer to your Fashionista posts from there.

I'm afraid we had to put in that sort of rule after too many people in the early days tried to join the forum just so they could make money off of members and not really participate.

That was my concern, thank you for clarifying, Greyhaunt! I won't be opening up commissions just yet; the outfits are already finished, so they're just going up for sale.
