This package arrived November 24th, but I couldn't open it until Christmas morning!


Inside is Smart Doll Ebony, from Danny Choo's Culture Japan. She is one of the dolls he has designed to go along with Mirai, his mascot. She has tan skin and it's a lovely, warm tone.


Christmas morning. Of course we have to start with a trip to my beach.




Sea glass the color of her eyes!


A couple of days later, we went whale watching at the light house.




Then it was time for a cozy day at home, drinking hot tea and reading and playing with the Zen garden.




New eyes in Cyan.


Outside today- it's COLD!!!

Her skin tone looks lovely! Smart Doll (non-animated) is on my short list. A friend has the normal sking Mirai and she's fabulous! Congratulations!

If (should that be when? given I was never going to go above 45cm at one point… ) I get a doll bigger than 55cm, it will be a Smart Doll. Or two.

When I bought mine back in November, the exchange rate made it about $480, plus shipping, which was about fifty bucks, if I remember correctly.
