reaper miniatures

Postby Kae915 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 5:25 pm

So my husband and I ordered from them online over a month ago and the figures never arrived. So 5 phone calls and 3 emails later, I FINALLY get an email saying that they have emailed me to confirm my address several times. So not only have they not been shipped yet, but I also never received any emails (I checked all my folders). I'm pretty annoyed. Anyone else have problems with them?

I've ordered literally hundreds of figures from Reaper of the years and haven't ever had that problem myself, though I've only ever had to contact them about something once and it was a single email from me with a prompt (2 working days) response from them. I have heard others have issues with Reapers communications though, so you're probably not alone. They've also never tried/needed to confirm my address though.

There's actually an enormous supply of Reaper minis stuck on the dock in California right now because of a strike of some sort. It's not Reaper's fault. I know this because my favorite local comics store has been waiting since November to get theirs.

I never heard about the strike but I only bought the figures that were labeled in stock so I think they should be coming from Texas. I just think it's weird that they claimed to have emailed me several times to confirm my address and I never received a single email until that one. I even got the reply after that saying they would ship it in the morning.

I have ordered direct from them, and did a Kickstarter. I did not have any issues, but I think the Kickstarters really changed the scope of their business. I love their minis and paints.

i've never had an issue with reaper, nor did my partner when he was working for a company that dealed their wares.
however, sometimes the internet just eats emails, so it could be a glitch in the matrix that lost the communications.
don't lose hope on them, their models are kinda worth the drama (like some awesome dolls and their wait times lol)
