RIP Sir PTerry

Postby Vetinari » Thu Mar 12, 2015 2:03 pm

Sad news today, that Sir Terry Pratchett one of the true literary genuises has passed away. He'll be sorely missed, though I feel he'll be remembered through his remarkable creations for years to come.

The following says it all:

Crazy Mulitverse Crew: Drax, Jareth, Jerome, Elrana Milenkova, The Thin White Duke, Vasily Lupandin, Ramin Aiphos, Theta Sigma, Aiko Koyame, Lord Havelock Vetinari, Dr Nicholas Rush, Anon., Nyta Kinall, Otto Kreiner, That Demon, Sasu, Yaya, Ombre
...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson

May he rest in peace. Discworld is a fun series to read.

A sad day for those left behind, but a well-lived life to celebrate.

I have been fan of his works since teen years, and even if I did know his altzheimer and struggles with it, somehow I thought Terry would still live on and on. :(

Everyone in my apartment was saddened by this. To honor his memory, we watched Color of Magic, a movie based on one of his books.

A brilliant mind, and a sad loss.

His books have been a part of my life for two decades. His skill with words and insight into humanity was amazing. Such a loss. He has added so much joy to my life and to the world.
