I had no stake in it this year, but we always watch for the commercials...even they weren't any good this year. Most of it was just for NBC shows. Looks like they've finally jacked the prices too high.

At least kids at two children's hospitals will get visits from a couple of superheroes. (No fan here, either.)
You have my condolences, Greyhaunt. I grew up somewhere within 100 miles from you (same valley) and remember how three drops of rain would snarl traffic, and how the news stations would go on and on and on about... Good grief, everything. Last time I was there, it seemed like most of the East Valley and the whole of my alma mater was under construction -- which couldn't have helped -- and recall how efficiently (yeah, no) construction projects were completed. Oi.

We were driving home from an anime con in a winter storm so we missed the Super Bowl (drat 
) but I did manage to see footage of "Left Shark" from the 1/2 time show...and it made my day XD

I moved from New England to Washington state a week before the superbowl. I'm glad I'm not big into football but I did lay low about it lol. It was hard to hear everyone ranting about the seahawks still because I was born and raised in New England.
