Yes, it's fine :) It's a fabric casing over a wire and pipe cleaner interior so he can't do any real damage. His favorite thing is to pull the casing off - I've had to put it back on her several times LOL

Is there something he doesn't like the smell of you could stuff in her tail? (That wouldn't also be unpleasant for humans...)

I've discovered, in the past, that a lot of the pet repellant stuff contains something I'm allergic too :( It would rather be worse if I were unable to approach Josephine myself! I just try and keep her out of range and she's pretty safe :)

Yikers! I totally understand what you're going through!
I have had to put some shelves very high up (so high that I need something to stand on) for my dolls because my cats are always trying to bite them!
My cats know how to open cabinets and doors! Yes, they're bratty, but you gotta love 'em ;-)

Yes, Micheletto has made me abundantly aware of that fact. The toilet paper (active roll) is now stored in a coffee can to prevent him decorating the apartment with it while I'm at work.
