Mamachapp Chun Li(in particular) regular or Alpha was acceptable to me.

She was elusive when she first released, even with professional toyhunters (and at one point myself) heading down to Japan to help me hunt her, she was tough to catch. I kinda gave up when I gotten my customised Obitsu Chun Li.

And then 4-5 years later she turn up on ebay at a very reasonable price, but I gotten attached to my customised girl to even think of getting the Mamachapp :shock: :lol: It was also interesting since Mamachapp practically uses Obitsu body as well. And my mentality was 'But all I want are the clothes' :lol:

She's up onYahoo Japan Auction taunting me.

And there arethese ladies. Who I own one SF Turbo version of and didn't feel the need to get the entire color range when I saw them in Japan :lol: Which was kinda insane since I went there to get more dolls in the first place (came home with a Volks WTG Yamato instead)

I'm not gonna lie, as a customizer my first thought was "How in the hell did they get her buns so tiny!?!?" I'm having that exact issue with my Miyu custom, I need to reroot her in the most stupid, ridiculous way possible to get something approximating her hairstyle because it's one of those "only works in anime" type hairstyles. :roll:

That Chun Li isn't going for a bad price on Y!J!! Are you going to buy her? :3 Normally I see Mamachapp dolls for $200-350, especially if they're super old or limited (like...most Mamachapp dolls? :? )

I've been meaning to ask you for the longest time, do you have closeup pictures of your Chun Li custom? I always admire her on your icon! I would LOVE to see her up close! Especially her gorgeous face! :D

I'm letting her float on Yahoo for a while longer.

I am running out of display space. I got to the point where I started to wonder if I'm gning to continue down the path of collecting even more action figures whenever they come out with a Chun Li. And since I don't play with my Medicom Chun Li much. I can let her float around on Yahoo for a while longer, unless someone else gets her. Megu-Chun(the Obi50) is my current active Chun Li at the moment, so I'm okay with that

Lol Obi-Chuns the only custom of mine that I didn't paint. She's an Obitsu W01PH2 with rerooted hair.

Photobucket hates my netbook and keeps giving me unresponsive script and DA is being weird so this the clearest so far

I might have an alternative for the bun hair. Its known as the Monique Lucky wig (Scroll middle) Kula's weaing the carrot color, Synthetic Mohair in size 4. And Megu Chun has the Lottie in light brown Modacrylic in size 7-8

The wig is pre braided and and buns were sewn in shape :shock: You can snip off or hide the tendrils under the wig. So short of doing insane rooting and having to the part the hair all the way to the back and somehow figure out a way to make the tiny buns stay. This is one alternative :lol:

i made imitation leather vinyl booties for her, modeled off her SPIRITS/SHODOWN II costume style.
they have some rather glaring flaws that are driving me crazy,
-and one bootie is even a bit under sized on top of it all-
so i'm going to have to make another pair, much more carefully this time;
that vinyl can be most delicate and tricky to work with;

Oh my gosh, I definitely played the hell out of this game when it came out! Awesome to see a Nakoruru doll; I had no idea one even existed. Very cool!
