Yeah, I'd go with Odin too. His face is a bit sharper-angled, whereas Howl's chin is more rounded and boyish... Given Erik's personality, Odin seems to fit better.

Agree on body #3, too. #2 looks emaciated, not muscular, to me....

I adore Odin, but, Howl is a nice choice as well.

Actually, I think that I'm starting to really lean towards Matthew as the upgrade. He looks more like the drawings I do when I'm trying to DRAW Erik. >.>;;;;
