I'd very very much like to thank victoriavictrix for letting me know about that goodwill site.

Jake is on his way home. (Y'know, providing I didn't just jinx myself into having something bad happening during the whole mailing and shipping process.)

I'll probably never know what he was doing in Ohio, wearing a clown suit. And I guess I'll need to come up with names for his friends... XD

The circus makes sense. You ought to write his story of how he ran away and came back home with friends.

I'm actually half-tempted to do that, but I wouldn't be able to do it as a photostory or anything (I'm not even sure if I could sketch decent illustrations). And I still need to name the littlest new one...

Hey that is awesome! I figured there was a good chance you'd find the doll you were looking for at a reasonable price there. So far the crazy scalpers don't seem to have located it. Congratulations!

Yep, when I went to have a look from your link, there he was! It was almost freakily easy after all the near-misses and disappointments over the years.

He brought a couple friends with him, tho... and now I have five Cabbies (one of which is possibly a knockoff).

Planning pictures as soon as Ivy's decently recovered from cabbage pox and I've sewn enough clothes to decently go 'round. (And if I cave and write a short story, maybe it'll be ok if I post it if it has a 'happy ending picture' to go with... XD)
