Gah. Looking for Erik's upgrade.

Yeah, as I said in the Random Thoughts thread over in JS, I'm looking to upgrade Erik. Unfortunately, I looked all through JS, and didn't see a doll that I thought would work. Though, I was tempted for amusement sake to try the Uncle body... but that would cause 'interesting' problems with Omi.

Anyway, I've been circling three Senior Delfs over on Luts. Matthew, Odin and Howl. Considering that I'm going to be dropping $500-$600 on this 'little' venture, I really don't want to get the 'wrong' one (or have my boys pull another 'fast' one on me, as they seem to love doing).

Here's shots of the three.... any input would be greatly appreciated. Haha, also waffling on the body type. At least I know that for THAT, I'd like either a type two or a type three (prolly a type three since the 'rippling man muscles' scare me a little).

Bodies. Type two is the really 'ripped' one, and type three is the one that hasn't spent his life starving and living in a gym. >.>;;;

Not Matthew. Omi would run over him with a steamroller. I like Odin best, but I think Howl looks more like Erik. And I think the type two body is great! Just think how Omi would react!!

Lezzeh . . . . Matthew looks too "little boy" innocent so he'd be instant fodder for Omi's diabolical tendencies. Odin seems sulky, but with the right face-up he could look down right mean! Howl (despite his unusual name) looks the more "normal guy" of the three.

Dang, isn't there something between those too bodies? Two looks almost more skeletal than ripped and three looks more like a six year old's body! Well, I know you could add tone and muscle mass to body 3 with blushing at least.

I'd go with Odin. The other two seem too baby-faced to me. I think they'd get taken advantaged of by Omi.

I have to vote for Odin as well. To me he just seems like, "See how pretty I am? See? Yeah, but you cross me and I'll shoot you in the face without a second thought." look... the other two just seem too sweet and innocent.

And I agree with you on the Rippling Man Muscles of the type 2 body. They're a bit scary.

I wish we could see them in Erik's wig; I'm visual like that. I think Odin's the best and I like Matthew cause his eyes make him look like he has a hard edge or at least that aloof appeal. Howl in the first picture seems too sweet and the second picture has that I'm too sexy playboy hurt you kinda thing going. Odin has that piercing grab you right out of the picture look and I look at his eyes and see Erik.

I'd have to go with Odin too. The other too look a little too dreamy and innocent. Although, I have to say, I like Eric just as he is.

Honestly, I have to agree. Current Erik is made of win. ^__^

But, I know if you aren't feeling it, then you need to go with the one who feels right for you.
