Nah, sadly I did not. Chiennejin (rage_gurl here on DS) and KuroKitty on DoA were the two friends I ran the group with. I went to one of the "big" meets down there, and it was not a very enjoyable time, so hopefully it wasn't the same group you're referring to. There was one girl there that was very... vocal... about the prices of her dolls, and she utterly ignored my friends and I with our small band of ResinSoul and Angel of Dream dolls. It was my first doll meet too. So we decided to run our own meets, and from my understanding, the group has flourished and is a rather merry band.
Do you want to come to a meet-up sometime? I am part of the Orlando group that OkamiKodomo's friends run and it's always fun!
