Where is everyone?

The place for those OT discussions that you just HAVE to share in a doll themed forum.

It has been quiet here lately. But I think a lot of smaller forums tend to go through more noticeable slow/quiet times.

I think it would be a great time for all of the lurkers to come out of hiding and start posting like crazy. Especially if they post things that are crazy!

hehe... I like the idea of posting crazy things like crazy! LOL

Well, you know how it is. We're a little doll family. When folks go missing I tend to wonder what's up. In the past I've emailed folks to see if they're ok but I guess I too have been lax in that department this past year. Keeping up with a baby is definitely time consuming.

I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder, Setsuna. I messed up my rotator cuff about ten years ago. Took a while to heal but it eventually did. I hope yours gets better faster than mine did!

Since my return to the dolly hobby, I've tried to be an active participant. Got full time school now though.

I've been having a rough time of it on all fronts for a while now, which is why I haven't been as visible. I miss you guys, though, and I miss being as actively creative with my dolls.

And we miss you, arrowchild! I hope that the new house is working out for you, at least!

*hugs* thanks Kirahfaye :) The new house has been...interesting-our contractors made a TON of mistakes with the initial reno work and have been here almost continuously fixing them for the past year, (they're here now actually-repairing the kitchen ceiling and fixing a toilet and speaking angrily in Ukrainian XD). But I love our neighborhood and I have a dedicated doll space in my studio which is pretty rad :D

Full time school is harder than a 40 hour a week job. At least with most jobs you go home and it's over for the day but school leaves you with all the lovely homework, studying, and exams. If I never take another exam in my life I'll be one happy lady. I enjoy learning, just not the stress of answering questions on a test. I hope it all goes well for you.

I'm glad you're in a good neighborhood. That's always a relief, I think. Sorry about the shouting Ukranians. hahaha Doll space is awesome!!! Technically I have that with the new house but there's very little time to actually get down there and unbox. (my house looks no different than it did when we moved.) Oops.

I'm glad to hear from everyone.

All the forums are slow during the summer months.

I broke my foot last month and still was working nine hour days, six days a week. Now that things have just started to slow down I'm trying to recuperate and do things other than work and sleep.
