What you do is mix up the subtitles, cutest fluffiest show ever with subtitles from Scarface.

I do that too.
I think it drives my dad crazy when we watch together because I correct the translator so much.

XD; Why it drives me nuts when I finally find a set of sub episodes but they don't match the clips I've seen or something.

Sometimes a phrase or saying just doesn't translate and I think it's okay to substitute something familiar with a similar meaning. How do you translate 'No sh*t Sherlock' to someone not familiar with the character? Oy vey isn't world wide but in the US it'll get the meaning across.

Oh Setsuna, your customs are so gorgeous as always!! T^T May I ask what bases they're made out of? Are they Volks? I don't think I've seen 1/3 Volks heads without eyeholes? Is that discontinued or something? Argh I can't stop staring! They're all so stunning!!! <33

Thank you, MeltedCaramel-san!! :) :hugs: So glad you like them!!!

Ikki and Rika's heads are 1/3 Volks Dollfie Dream Custom Hair heads. (I slimmed Ikki's head so he looks male.) Ikki is on a ResinSoul 70cm body and Rika is on a 60 MiroDoll body.
Toma has a discontinued Parabox anime Custom hair head while Arisu is using the newer Parabox Pchan head. (Both 1/3 scale.) I'm not super fond of Pchan but it works enough for her. I wish they'd come back with their original anime head (the one Toma has) since it's more versatile for male or female characters. It's ALMOST Dollfie Dream quality/features and made for the more 'pretty' shoujo anime style. The Pchan is a bit too 'cutesy' and more the K-On/Lucky Star/Gosick styling of anime. But it's okay for Arisu who is semi-cutesy, sooo....
Toma is on an NobilityDoll 63cm body and Arisu has an Obitsu 60cm body.

They're all super hybrids, with only Arisu being the non hybrid. (If you count pairing Obitsu with Parabox as standard.)

I have 14 (1/3) anime dolls using the Volks Dollfie Dream Custom hair heads---I just love them because you are able to paint your own eyes and not just use the generic eyehole shapes of the eyehole heads. ^^ (Ikki/Rika from Amnesia; Tsukimori/Hino from Corda 1/2; Tohgane/Kohinata from Corda 3; Yuzuru/Nozomi (who actually switch around with 4 wigs and clothing sets to match which series they're from----long story)from Haruka 1, 2, 3, 4; StarMaker/Pluto from Sailor Moon; Seto/Serenity from YuGiOh!; and Trowa/Cathrine from Gundam Wing. Also have Gambit/Rogue from X-Men but they don't use Anime heads, so they don't apply here. ^^ :laughs: )

My sister has 15 (1/3) anime dolls using the Parabox Original Anime head and 1 using the Pchan head (Arisu). We wanted ONE more original anime head for her, but they are sold out now. :( Maybe sometime, we'll come across another! (You might be wondering why she has 2 more big dolls than I do, since they're all matching from the same anime series, just of our own favorite characters.....
Well, in La Corda d'Oro, she originally loved Shimizu best, but then when Etou was introduced a few years later, she decided she liked him best now! She loves these two characters and so couldn't decide which was her fav! In the end, she went with both and so has two sets of couples from Corda, rather than one set.

(Toma/Arisu from Amnesia; Shimizu/Fuyuumi AND Etou/Shouji from Corda 1/2; Myoga/Mikage from Corda 3; Benkei/Saku (again with 4 sets of clothing/hair) from Haruka 1,2,3,4; StarFighter/Uranus from Sailor Moon; Yugi/Tea from YuGiOh!; and Quatre/Dorothy from Gundam Wing. Her X-Men are Nightcrawler and Daytripper but they've got the realistic heads, so...)

Ha ha, she's tooo funny!!!! :)
