I went to ye old Junky Spot and purchased a NS RS Dai.
So, this is my first SD size doll. Looks like her wig size is right at an eight. I may have some stretchy 7/8s that will fit her until I can buy her very own wig. Clothes I can make\work with. I'll get a pair of cheap shoes off e-bay.
My biggest question is what size eye does she take? If she can wear 16mm eyes I'm good. If she needs 18mm Imma have to go shopping.
And yeah, Mommieh. This one's on you and Katya. :P

LOL! But she is a darling dollieh! Aren't we all good at enabling each other?

Damn! If only I could work out a deal with Emory where I get a cut whenever I enable someone, lol!
Dai is lovely. There are some nice pictures of Dais in the large resinsoul and bobobie discussion thread on DoA.

Her head is actually a little on the small side- a size 8/9 wig will be big on her. I have a 7/8 on mine and it seems to be perfect. And for eyes, I think 14 or 16 would be best, definitely not 18s.

Goodie! I can't wait to see your new girl! I'm taking my Katja to see Wildwoodflower and her girls today, so I'll try to get some pictures.

Yes we are.

I'm wondering also about wigs now. Her head measurement comes out to 7.9 inches. A nice stretchy 7/8 should fit her, espeically a JPOP wig, which tends to run large\have a lot of give. And I don't want to buy a wig before I have her in hand and see how big her head is because I know some of the resinsoul....check that...most of the resinsoul gals run kind of smaller than their counterparts. My Mei can wear a 5/6 JPOP wig without too much struggle.

*Edit - Thanks Mommieh. That's exactly what I needed to know!

This is going to be my "blue" girl. She's gonna have blue hair eventually and blue eyes, and a sparkly faceup with BLUE. :D

I'm feeling Russian inspired because of Katja, also. I'm thinking about naming her Tamara after my favorite figure skating coach, Tamara Moskvina. I've always loved that feisty lady with her pretzel twisted pairs teams. I dunno, though. I'm not committing to anything until I see her face to face. And I got the shipping notice so I'm looking for her to come in some time at the end of next week.

Yes, it's wise to wait until they arrive to decide for sure. Katja was supposed to be Aja, but when she got here she wouldn't have it. My dolls are very outspoken and opinionated about these things, they are not very compliant.

Tamara sounds wonderful, though! And I'm a huge figure skating fan- both watching and doing. It's the one form of exercise I would do every day all day if I could. Sadly, nearest rink is two hours away.

Okay- eye size would be 16. 14 is too small. Katja I "think" is wearing 18s and the pupil is a bit too large.

Make sure you post lots and lots of pictures when she gets there!

I've got plenty of 16mm eyes so that's not gonna be a problem. Unless none of them suit her and I have to buy more. :p
And oh yeah, I'll be spammin'!
