This is just kind of an update of sorts on the new job. It's going really well, I made new friends, and my coworkers are some of the coolest people around. It's very laid back, and though it does get busy, it's pretty low-stress, so far. I'm sure the stress will go up once I'm actually on a register, but for now, it's nice. And my boss has NO problems with any of us working overtime if we want to. So I can make each of my days count for more. Makes the hour long commute worth it. One week and one day's worth of pay was almost as much as a full two week paycheck would have been with my old job's hours cuts.

My little bambino slept a LOT today so I got to work on my book, largely interrupted.

I have some mystery seedlings growing in a planter. I'm half considering letting them grow to see what they are, half wanting to pull them up so I can plant something good

Ooh that's pretty cool! (Fond memories of sunflowers when I was a kid - one year they got up as high as the window in my bedroom) ...Never did manage a pumpkin bigger than a grapefruit though...

When was I kid my mom brought home a mystery bug cocoon. We both thought it was going to be a moth or something like that. The day it hatched hundreds of baby praying mantis come out. It was an awesome day.
