I love ravens. I find them to be fascinating. One used to walk with me back home from class when I lived in Ireland. I have a plan to someday (when I figure out where I want to place it) get a tattoo of Huginn and Muninn

man, people get cool raven stories, and all I have are goldfinches that keep trying to get my attention to refill their buffet.

This is what I want to do but like a photo bracelet with portraits of my dogs. I want it do in way that I could add on more pets over the years.

No real totem animal for me. I love and enjoy learning about all kinds of animals. A side from dogs, lately I find myself gravitated toward birds of prey like owls and hawks.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

The chain for the charms was going to spiral up my leg, if I could cover up a highly custom tat it was easier to work back then, so as more charms were added there would be more chains.

And a great big happy 25th birthday to the world wide web today! It's also a win for humanity as the inventor gave it to us for free.

That would be epic! I'm working on a back piece for myself that is Hati and Skoll chasing the moon and sun.

Both of you get a BIG GIANT INTERNET COOKIE from me. Uuhhhhh mythology, it is orgasmic. Also, Okami, you get an extra internet cookie, thank you for getting the respective brothers right. You have no idea how many people think Sköll and Hati are some how interchangeable. Also, Fenrir somehow ends up "eating the world" despite it being Jörmungandr that is "The World Serpent" and when he finally stops biting his tail the world will cease to be. Loki's kids are some of the most mixed up in modern mythology.

Speaking of, you two may enjoy this student art film. Yes, the mythology is HORRIBLY WRONG (That's Fenrir and Vidar fighting, but Fenrir is doing Sköll's job), but this short one minute film is just....I can't explain it, full screen it and watch the amazing:

After a week from the day I ended up in the ER, I'm still having abdominal problems. I get queasy or gassy throughout the day. No vomiting, thankfully. I guess I should try to make a doctor appt.... Only I know me. The day of my appt. I'll be right as rain.

Have you tried active culture yogurt or digestive enzymes? If you've been taking meds you might be missing the good bacteria in your system. It helped our puppy when she was urpy.

sorry i'm late getting back in this. @meltedcaramel this is the one https://twitter.com/SieadAitGR/status/3 ... 76/photo/1 the one on my hand is just a plain black band.

@shortandcuddlyam lol. while it did suck to do, at least it was fast. almost felt like getting a burn, and takes about an hour or two to stop aching. then again, the lady that did the retouch was very... thorough. so that may have been part of it.

i don't really have a totem animal, but raccoons have been a running in-joke between me and the hubs for years now. heh.

and random: why does it always snowstorm on wednesdays! seriously, i hate spending a day off shoveling. blek. c'mon spring.

Kirahfaye Hah, I'm with you. Besides my chronic pain, any sort of illness I consider going to the doctor for will magically go away the morning of my appointment, and if I cancel the appointment it decides to come slinking on back. It's ridiculous how often it happens. Sometimes I think it's some sort of reverse psychology thing, and sometimes I think it's fate laughing its ass off at us!

Siead I love that tattoo!!! <3

Snowstorm? I'm surprised we didn't get one, but we did have weird howling wind last night. I was confused when I heard what I thought was someone using a lawnmower at 2AM (we live in a natural wind tunnel and rain collection area so the sound gets distorted) and it turned out to be the wind. It was...odder than I'm making it sound. You'd have to have heard it for yourself, but put it this way, when the wind sounds like a lawnmower outside your door, it's a little disconcerting. :?
