(First frankendolly in quite a while, which makes me happy.)
Mattel hasn't made a boy doll in Skipper size in quite a while- there was High School Musical, but as far as a 'friend', the last one was Kevin in what, the '90s?

Monster High boys were too stylized, but the Ever After High body had more natural proportions. So, I bought a Hunter on eBay and started carving.

I trimmed an Ultimate Boyfriend Ken's head down at the neck and jawline, sanding the edges with emery boards and fine sandpaper.
The head did fit, though I had to wrap the neck post with clear bands to get the head to stay on.

Here he is next to Dreamhouse Ken. Not a huge difference in height, but enough to suggest a youth instead of an adult.

Here he shows off a bit for Courtney*.

The posable body is a lot of fun! Definitely beats the current 5 POA that most of the dolls have.
Is it the perfect solution? Not entirely- the head is a little oversized. (Though after all these years of BHS, I can cope with it.) I do want to open the neck hole up just a little bit more and widen the base of the post with Magic Sculp so the head will
sit a little more firmly. Still, I think he's cute (So does Courtney!) and it was a fun experiment.

Thanks for looking!
*Yes, Courtney. Since I have a blonde articulated Skipper, she needed her brunette BFF, didn't she?
