Well, I caved in. I'd posted some nonsense about avoiding Junkyspot sales. LIES! ALL LIES!!! He put up a clearance corner! Clearance you say? Hmm... well, I could just LOOK. That adorable little DL DangDang was on there. What did I do? Bought it of course. We'll just call it a minor set back for the Spiritdoll savings pot.

My brother gave my mom a laptop for her birthday yesterday. He even completely set it up for her. That part is good. Now the trick is keeping my stepfather away from it. He isn't a bad guy...he just thinks he has awesome computer skills when he doesn't. My mom had a PC until recently when he tried to "make it work better" for her, which in turn caused it to never turn on again.
His computer skills are just that awesome.

It's actually kind of funny, because my brother does have awesome super-human type ability when it comes to anything computer or electronic related. It kind of ends up with my brother as the super hero and my stepfather as his arch nemesis who comes behind breaking everything he just fixed or brought over.

Just found code.org -> so gonna make this my "productive" hobby for the forseeable future, I want to be qualified dammit!

Yet another thing that the UK education system is seriously lacking... Seriously I didn't even know CompSci was an option until it was far too late to swap over

Am I allowed to laugh and point at the ignorance of the anti-captivity spammer who marked the post about supporting the people who study the wild population of killer whales? I think dealing with the polarized stubbornness of some of the people in the doll hobby has prepared me for this.

Never saw Scrubs outside of the clip about the box of kittens.

Bad Rowdy! :D

I think J.D. and Turk picked him up at a yard sale when they were in college.

Makes me realize how much I miss watching Scrubs. Hubby and I would watch it pretty much every evening when we were dating. In one of the later seasons they end up with 2 Rowdy's because Carla thought she lost him, and ended up buying another one from Janitor.

XD I remember that part..I'm wondering where the creators of the show got that dog from.

It's such a good show, even now it holds up. My favorite episode was My Musical.

As long as the animals are given the utmost respect and care I'm ok with zoos and aquariums. I'd rather have people in an environment that is cleaned up after them daily, then disturbing real wildlife habits.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.
