Randomness because I don't want to do homework! XD

Been a blustery day and a dangerous week (weather/electricity/car wise) Last week most of the power in town went out because a parachuter ended up in the power-lines and started a small fire (he was fine). Been a lot of car accidents due to the wet weather and other circumstances. I accidentally spun myself in a circle in the parking lot as I drove a bit too fast when turning a corner. Luckily the person behind me was a smart driver and going slow so no accidents. Now it's so windy at least one street light has gone out on the main road (yay for turning a busy intersection into a four-way stop...) and we had a little power bump.

Isn't the fall so much fun? ^_^ I'm just hoping it calms down a bit for tomorrow as we're hosting Parent Daughter Engineering Day on campus and I don't fancy getting blown around while trying to get all the supplies to the other building where the event is being held. >_> I don't want any dangerous driving conditions for the parents and their kids either.

@Qrinta: It's spitting snow where I am but wind can be a pain in any season.

I tried to sketch out some cats for an idea today. They have cat head but I keep drawing dog bodies. :|

Luckily the wind calmed down, it's picking up again now but otherwise it's been a beautiful weekend. I saw a little dust devil in the parking lot! *leaves swirling around in a mini-tornado thing* The are fun to watch but not so fun to walk through. XD

O.o That would be an interesting creature. When I draw animals the only thing you can tell them apart by is the head. Hopefully. But I'm not much of an artist. -_-

... When I draw animals the only thing you can tell them apart by is the head. Hopefully. But I'm not much of an artist. -_-

Practice practice practice. Art is something that literally gets better with doing and you want to do better for yourself. Take the time to figure out what makes the shape of each animal's body different, dogs are this shape, cats are that shape, rabbits that shape.

Maybe this is more of a sux than a random, but I finally got an invite to the Elder Scrolls Online Beta this week... aaaand the installer is taking so long to download all the files that I'm probably not going to make it in game before this particular Beta is over tonight. I started installing on Friday and it's only 22% downloaded. "Just" 5 gigabytes to go.... =_=

My husband asked what I was working on tonight and I told him I was making Christmas dresses for my sister's Ellowyne dolls and that I was also making one for my most recent El...the one he likes best. After looking at the pattern picture, he informed me that won't do for 'his' doll. He proceeds to give me a full description of the black velvet dress she must have instead. Okay. He goes off to bed...and gets up about 20 minutes later to tell me he forgot to tell me the dress must be trimmed in white fur at the neck and cuffs! I expect he will start shopping for new shoes and wigs for her any day now!

I swear I've lost my mind...I wake up at six AM and instead of going back to bed..I get up and take dollieh pictures outside in the cold.

Work is attempting to steal my sanity bit by bit, but I showed it! I took the rest of the week off! Hah! I do love having 3 weeks paid vacation. I've almost always got days left over by the end of the year that they insist I use before I lose 'em. No complaints from me!

And Dollmore just emailed me to let me know my damaged Lumie head I sent back arrived safely, and they'll be casting another head and foot for me and sending it back. I guess she probably won't arrive in time for Christmas, though. ;__; Poor Victoria. Headless, footless ... I put her away in her travel bag so I didn't freak anyone out who might happen to see a headless body sitting in the chair. Halloween was LAST month. XD

I also just splurged and ordered a bunch of fairy figurine ornaments that I'll probably not have enough room on my tiny Christmas tree to hang again this year. But that's okay. They can just join the others hanging from my ceiling.

One of these days I WILL have a full-sized fairy-filled Christmas tree, durnit! And it will be epic! *shakes fist*
