Nice doll houses but I was disappointed that none of them come with lasers. :(

(Yes, that was a joke.)

Just finished "Bastion" yesterday. I like to think I'm too old to squee, so I'll just give a dignified two thumbs up. Ignore that sound. It was probably just a moose. ;)

Had to haul out my winter coat to walk the dog this morning. It's coming. Sigh.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

First doll-related photo session in months... didn't go well. Bleh. :(

I wanted to get some pics of my Azone "Maya- Cherry Pie" (that sounds wrong somehow) but the light just sucks in here. I usually get better results outside but it's cold and wet AND my son is taking his morning nap in the den. If I go out the carport door, there's a good chance I'll wake him up.

everytime you call that doll maya it amuses me.

not sure I'm up to drawing comics yet, but I might work on a new script so I have something in the holding tank if I need it.

So I am still new to resin dolls.
And I went to research about resin.
Then I confused it with rosin that I apply to my viola bow.
So apparently there is the organic substance resin from pine tree, and synthetic resin.
And rosin is made from resin from pine trees.
Oh I see.
The individual perceptions of life makes the same world different.

Raising Steam by Terry Pratchett. Gods I feel awful writing this; it's Pratchett but not quite as we knew him. Various characters aren't quite themselves, the characterisation just feels off (actually I've felt this way for several books now), and the prose is somewhat clunky. The plot itself is fine but his style has noticeably changed.

We all know why this change in style may/may not have occurred, but it breaks my heart that I can watch it happening as the books go on. I'll definitely continue buying his books, long may he continue to have good health. But :?

...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson
