I just spent 40 minutes trying to buy tickets online. I timed out twice-once because apparently sometime in the last 15 years I had a Ticketmaster account and secondly because they require that my credit card be verified through my bank and I have a code. I give up; instead of giving them over $100; I will buy the DVD for less than $15 from Amazon and a nice bottle of wine then invite my friend over for our girl's night.

A girl's night sounds way more fun. ;)
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

You can pause DVDs when you have to pee, you can wear comfy clothes, and don't have to deal with the irritating parts of concerts. Then you can watch the good parts over and over. You can always have all your dolls stand or sit in front of you, put that extra DVD of Zep's one angle rehearsal on the smallest screen in the house and it's just like cheap seats.

For some utterly bizarre, totally unfathomable reason, I have this urge to get back in to doll blogging again. Clearly, dementia caused by age and old head injuries are behind this as I have exactly zero time to do such a thing. I didn't do a very good job of keeping up with it back when I had the time and now, with one and soon to be two little rug rats in tow, I don't see it happening. Not to mention that Blogger and other similar sites seem to be kind of dead in this age of Facebook.

You're looking for a healthy productive and creative release for your spiritual well being. Even if you do it only once a year that's still doing it.

I hear that. With in several days of JS opening their Bookface page, the JS forum became a ghost town. I guess is easier to just click on a "Like" button that compose a coherent thought.

I follow a number of doll blogs on Blogger-I am just really lousy at updating my own blog. :D
http://www.miniimayhem.blogspot.com/ is a blast. It is a novel illustrated with 1/12 doll photos.

Halloween is fun. Nothing quite like standing at my machine at work, minding my own business ... and turning around just in time to witness a gigantic Papa Smurf strolling by.

Also, blogging must be an epidemic. I just started a brand new journal. Not a blog, per say, but still a journal. I haven't kept a steady journal for fourteen years. I kept one all through high school and a few years past that and then sort of lost interest. But I was paging through a few of them a few days back and thought I sort of miss it. So I bought a brand new journal to write in. My last entry in my old one was in like June of 1999. Boy, have I got some catching up to do!

we had a big ass storm here. ug. kept me up all night and I have to work today and the weekend and somehow not throw a temper tantrum at no one telling me stuff that's rather important for work. then again, if I do throw one, maybe I'll get the laptop I've been asking for so I can actually do parts of my job.
