I also never had any issues when I visited California for three months, either. Are you at a lower altitude or the higher altitudes? My husband is convinced since we stuck to the hills, that that was the reason.

Also remember that there are different plants (and different strains of the same plant) in different places, and I would guess that you're only allergic to a specific plant's pollen/dust.

That's true, too...but there's not much difference in corn/soybean/wheat pollen, is there?
My what big EYES you have!

I live in the metro Atlanta area so we aren't exactly at sea level.

Sadly I have no idea ^.^; My first thought is that there wouldn't be, but thinking on it a bit, there are people allergic to just wheat or just corn, so I can see the difference being relevant. My agricultural knowledge is basically limited to high school and what I've gleaned overhearing my brother-in-law chatting about his harvest jobs, so it's all theory for me at the moment anyway.

I've heard eating local honey can help sometimes. :)
It lets your body get used to the compounds in the local pollen without exacerbating symptoms.

Does anyone know if dango is supposed to be SUPER sticky? =? I attempted it and the sauce turned out ok but the dango was so sticky it wouldn't come off the plate xD
Because skittles are overrated.

I so love living in the country. Earlier I was outside with the pups when a volley of gun fire erupted and all three of us literally jumped! Since the sheriff's deputy across the street is still there and there's been no mention of it on the local morning news program, I'm going with it being an interesting start the the marsh hen season .....
